Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

    Cream sugar, brown sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla together in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
