Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 3 cups shaving cream
  • Food coloring, optional
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1½ tablespoons saline contact solution, added slowly (must contain boric acid and sodium borate)

Instructions

    Add the glue. Pour the glue into a large mixing bowl.

    Add the shaving cream. Add the shaving cream and stir until fully combined. Add a few drops of food coloring if desired.

    Mix in the baking soda. Stir in the baking soda until evenly incorporated.

    Activate the slime. Add the contact solution slowly while stirring continuously. The mixture will begin pulling away from the sides of the bowl.

    Knead until stretchy. Knead the slime with your hands for several minutes until it becomes smooth, fluffy, and stretchy. Add a few extra drops of contact solution only if needed.
