Ingredients

  • Stroganoff
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained (or ½ cup fresh mushrooms, sliced)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for richness)

  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and buttered

Instructions

    Brown the beef. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.

    Add the mushrooms and soup. Stir in the mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well until smooth and combined.
