Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounces)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Hamburger buns, for serving

    In a large skillet or saucepan, brown the ground beef and chopped onion together over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is tender. Drain excess grease.
