- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1Melt the Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
2Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
3Add the Cream and Seasonings: Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
4Simmer the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce gently simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5Incorporate the Cheese: Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
6Finish and Serve: If using, stir in the lemon juice. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using. Serve warm, or refrigerate up to 5 days and reheat gently.
